So my mom and I have been working the same waitress job for 5-6 years now. She had been waitressing years before, but this is recently. Anyway, about… 15 minutes ago this guy she waited on left and told her to take care. Just that. Prior to this she had talked to him about Italy. Her people are from Florence, this and that, and she said she’s never been. She’s got 8 years of art education and she’s working a waitress job. It’s pretty… Sad and disappointing, I guess. Her and my father divorced 6 years ago and she hasn’t had a real job ever. Just been stuck in a small town she’s not from.

This man who we have never seen before tipped her 1000 dollars for a trip to Italy. Walked out, not another word.

…you know. Just when I start to lose faith in humanity….Hm.

If you can’t stay 5 minutes in sarvangasana, practice the amount of time you can! And don’t practice it when you have your period.

Preparing to Salvador Yoga Festival in November!

I’m so excited for this. I contacted Salvador’s Yoga Festival staff and they told me the event is going to happen on 22th, 23th and 24th november 2013!

I’ve already bought my plane tickets (only US$120 for round trip tickets!) because the sooner you buy them, the cheaper, and now I’m saving money to the subscription rates, that are around US$350. Subscriptions have already begun. Excited!!!!

The Festival will happen in this very nice hotel, and the rates include lodging and three meals, classes, lectures and kirtans. I believe it’s going to be very nice. Around 300 people went to the 2012’s edition.

I’m expecting great days!!
