Yoga is about clearing away whatever is in us that prevents our living in the most full and whole way. With yoga, we become aware of how and where we are restricted — in body, mind, and heart — and how gradually to open and release these blockages. As these blockages are cleared, our energy is freed. This week is all about flow- flowing vinyasas gliding on the breath, observing the flow of thoughts without getting swept up in each one, flowing from one action to the next while remaining present in the moment.
Expect flowing core-strength in Pilates for Yogis (6-7pm tonight) and flowing dynamic sequences to a beautiful mix in Vinyasa Playlist (7.15-8.45pm tonight). Expect me to say the word flow a lot ;)
The lovely Angela will be taking Nurture Restorative yoga (2.30-4pm Sunday) for me- it’s my birthday this week and I’m taking taking the weekend off- i’ll also be celebrating by teaching all my favourite postures this week (let me know when it’s your birthday and I can sequence your favourites into the class- it’s a fun little treat).
